• Physically cross-linked, closed cell polyolefin foam with factory applied reinforced aluminium foil and factory applied acrylic adhesive backing.
• Density: 25 kg/m³ (foam core only).
• Thermal Conductivity (ASTM C518): Maximum 0.032 W/m.°K at mean temperature 23°C.
• Water absorption: <0.1 % v/v.
• Water Vapour permeability (ASTM E96): Maximum 2.3 x 10^-15 kg/Pa.s.m, (µ>80,000).
• Service Temperature Range: - 80°C ~ +80^°C (adhesive backing).
• Zero mould growth when tested to ASTM G21.
• Fire Rating:
• Class 0 to BS476 Parts 6 and 7.
• Complies with NFPA 90A and B (ASTM E84 25/50 rating).
• Smoke Density and Toxicity:
• Complies with the requirements of International Maritime Organization Resolution MSC 61(67) Part 2.
• D_m<200 (ISO 5659 Part 2 gas analysis); combustion gases CO, HCl, HF, NO_x, HBr, HCN and SO₂ to be within the maximum allowable concentrations of International Maritime Organization Resolution MSC 61(67) Part 2.
